Our Mission
The Geneva Police Department's mission is to work together to provide the highest quality of service in a professional manner to all citizens. The Police Department pledges to safeguard and respect the rights of all and to dedicate ourselves to preventing and solving crimes through innovative law enforcement techniques. The department promotes an attitude of genuine concern and empathy for others.

The department also seeks to encourage crime prevention through education and active involvement with Geneva residents. The best Defense is a good Offense. Through our work in the community we train citizens how NOT to be victimized by criminals.


About the City of Geneva Police Department

The Geneva Police Department exists as the primary law enforcement body for the City of Geneva, Alabama. The department, which serves a population of approximately 4,400 people, is comprised of 11 full time Sworn Officers and 1 part time Sworn Officer. The Geneva Police Department works hand-in-hand with all surrounding Police Departments and the Geneva County Sheriffs Department.
